Incomplete Geometry

In the process of investigating the genome piece there was a podcast of it which included a prior segment.

In a bit of preemptive* positing, I note the potential significance of 8 and 24 dimension.

Could it be that it is related to the fact that 2 cubed is eight and 8x3 is 24. 

I say that without quibbling** over the definition of dimensions, but to say they are using it too purely mathematical. 

But now that I have spelled it out, might it represent 3 dimensions in each of the 8 quadrants of standard x-y-z grid.  Or am I just putting into words what it actually means in their math?

BTW:  I am not conned by Darwin's God.  I've only begun to think and thread lede or ships. 

Models are the new frontier.  Reading is not fundamental.  Math is the bigger picture.

The Dems have a purity problem to, transparency is problematic and Darwin's God may be ironic.
